Explanation:
This trade would turn out to be even worse as Fitzpatrick proceeded to nose dive for the rest of the season. Even at the time, Fitzpatrick had received his new contract, thus killing his incentive to play well while furthering his incentive to spend that money freely off the field. (This is never a good thing for a newly rich person, even if he went to Harvard. That beard shows you he's a little wild.) Greene has been running behind an incapable O-Line for the Jets all season long and things aren't exactly looking up. But sure, why not trade the second or third highest scoring player in the league for two mediocre guys and no stars.
