Ziki Doesn't Take No For An Answer

Upon hearing that Pope thought his Ibaka for Parsons offer was trash, Ziki decided to "augment" his offer:

Ziki gets: Serge Ibaka & Tyreke Evans
Pope gets: Chandler Parsons & Darren Collison

Trade offer rating: 7 stars

Pope's immediate reaction to the deal was: "Sam and I found this amusing, as I don’t think either one of us would have traded Tyreke for Collison straight up." We couldn't have said it better ourselves...

Ziki Loves Pushing Chandler Parsons

Chandler Parsons is a valuable fantasy asset because he provides a little of everything. Although that's more useful in rotisserie style scoring, Parsons can still impact head-to-head leagues. Parsons, however, still isn't considered anywhere near a top 40 player. Therefore Pope was not happy when he received this trade offer:

Ziki gets: Serge Ibaka
Pope gets: Chandler Parsons

Trade offer rating: 6 Stars

Explanation: It's not the worst offer Ziki's ever made, but it's pretty bad. Ibaka has tremendous value in head-to-head leagues because he's rather dominant in FG% and blocks, while rather strong in rebounds as well. His points have also sky rocketed this year with the departure of James Harden. Naturally this makes him the kind of player Ziki is looking for -- a top 15-20 fantasy player he can rip off someone else. It would've made sense to check with Pope first to see what Pope actually wanted in his fantasy categories, given that it's all the stats Ibaka provides. But that would be expecting way too much from the always ambitious ZIki.

Ziki Brings It From Abu Dhabi

Just cause Ted Ziki is in Abu Dhabi doesn't mean he can't make you a terrible trade offer. Curtis was proposed this from Ted:

Ziki gets: Chris Paul
Curtis gets: Darren Collison and Chandler Parsons

Trade offer rating: 8 Stars

Explanation: Collison and Parson are decent players, Chris Paul is the third best player in fantasy basketball. Ziki could've at least offered a better PG in this situation considering he has five of them! In a re-draft, neither Parsons nor Collison would be a top 40 player.
